a Part-Time/Home-Based
Business
Flicko’s expansion
plans do not include part-time or home-based operations
for several reasons:
- Part-time
or home-based operations do not allow full utilization of the
Flicko’s equipment package. Flicko’s
store setting allows for numerous customers to work at the stations
on various operations simultaneously.
Obviously, the larger the utilization of the equipment, the
larger the cash flow and more favorable return
on investment.
- Flicko’s
does not believe its professional image can be obtained in anything
less than a storefront.
- Flicko’s
believes that a home-based video workshop diminishes the pleasure
and happiness of the owner as well as the owner’s family and
neighbors.
- Flicko’s
believes the customers will be more comfortable in a store and more
likely to come back and refer new customers.
- Flicko’s
believes having a workshop in a private home setting limits the
potential of its workshops and elevates the risk of owner problems
and issues such as burglary or home invasion.
